This is an travel guide especially for people who work on national or European research projects. Which means, for people who spent lots of their time on meetings in other places. Since a lot of the institutions participating in these research projects are usually the same, you end up traveling to the same destinations all over again. Therefore, we thought it might be a good idea to share our experiences and tips and tricks to make you familiar with the ABC’s for each trip – for your convenience and for better networking on location. After all, the average project worker spends 60 nights away from his/her family on meetings.
ABC4Trip is edited by people who, during their hard formation to become researchers that write their own funding proposals, learned to read the map before they went shopping for airline tickets and hotel rooms.
